This exclusive collection will be available on the WILDSIDE online platform and at WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO OSAKA and WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO HARAJUKU.

＜Kié Einzelgänger＞
Based in Antwerp, Belgium, Kié Einzelgänger draws inspiration from its defining term "Einzelgänger" (lone wolf, solitary person). Influenced by visual arts derived from Surrealism and Dadaism of the 1920s to 1940s, the brand seamlessly integrates these historical elements with contemporary design to create its collections.

Since the first collection, the collaboration with Kié Einzelgänger has consistently explored ways to create "wearable clothing for any occasion" by balancing casual and formal elements, playfulness and rigor, as well as youth and maturity.
This fourth collaboration introduces three shirts made from rayon fabric, known for its soft texture and elegant drape. Each shirt features symmetrical details and is designed with versatility in mind, aiming to become a long-lasting staple in the customer's wardrobe. Additionally, the shirts incorporate practical details inspired by the interwar period, a subject of ongoing research by Kié Einzelgänger's designer, Kié Lee. These items are meticulously crafted with an emphasis on detail.

The short-sleeve shirt features an open collar detail and a flat-felled center back seam, reminiscent of 1940s workwear. The design extends the sleeve to the elbow, creating a versatile, gender-neutral look. Crafted from Yohji Yamamoto’s black rayon fabric, it adds an element of elegance while combining practical details with a sophisticated style. Additionally, the inverted pleat pocket on one side evokes the aesthetic of the 1980s.

The uniform-like stand-up collar is designed with a masculine style, yet the softness of the rayon fabric allows it to be worn in a gender-neutral manner. This item features a pattern created by Kié Lee, who considered the characteristic style of Yohji Yamamoto wearers—specifically, the practice of wearing a T-shirt underneath the shirt.

This high-collar shirt builds on the previously featured design with an extended stand-up collar, now upgraded with perfectly symmetrical and simplified length and cut. In addition to the gender-neutral epaulet design, the split chest pocket adds functionality for various daily uses. The ambiguous mix of the collar and epaulet expresses the identity that balances "casual and formal elements, playfulness and rigor, as well as youth and maturity."
