Y's unveils a capsule collection inspired by Y's 2003 Autumn/Winter knitwear. This collection of knitwear, which includes the first collaboration between Y's and John Smedley, reinterprets the layered colors proposed on the Paris runway at that time with high-quality, diverse knitwear from the British brand JOHN SMEDLEY. The collection thoughtfully expresses the strength of layering and the compatibility of diverse colors.

The Y's × JOHN SMEDLEY collection features three items: a high-neck pullover, a bottle-neck pullover, and arm warmers. Layered with Y's knit skirts, haori, and wool stoles, these pieces offer an appealing knit-on-knit, color-layered silhouette.

All Y's × JOHN SMEDLEY items are available in six colors inspired by the colors of Y's 2003-2004 Autumn/Winter collection.

A pop-up store will open in Tokyo from Wednesday, November 6th to Tuesday, November 12th, ahead of the nationwide launch, featuring the "Y's × JOHN SMEDLEY" collection.

The 'High-Neck Pullover' and the oversized 'Off-Bottle-Neck Pullover' are made from extra fine merino wool carefully selected by JOHN SMEDLEY and feature high-gauge rib knit. Layering these two different colored knitwear pieces adds contrasting colors to the neckline, hem, and cuffs, highlighting the charm of layered styling. The 'Y’s JOHN SMEDLEY' logo is intricately jacquard-knitted on the back, showcasing the technical expertise of JOHN SMEDLEY in incorporating jacquard knitting into the typically challenging rib knit structure, resulting in a detailed and sophisticated expression.

Y's knitwear collection
New knitwear from Y's inspired by the collection from that time. It features a unique big stole that can be worn asymmetrically with one sleeve, a mid-length long-sleeve cardigan that can be loosely worn with a kilt pin, and a knit skirt that features a soft, voluminous appeal.
