Yohji Yamamoto will open a new directly managed street store “Yohji Yamamoto New York Wooster” on Wooster Street in the Soho district of New York on Friday, September 1, 2023.

The new store is located at 52 Wooster Street and is a 150 m2 boutique with a large window of 25 m in length. In addition to the development of Yohji Yamamoto and Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME, this is a new project that will develop various brands of the company such as Y's and LIMI feu.

The first store in New York, which will serve as an opportunity for future business expansion in the United States, will have the largest presence in the country, in addition to the development of the collection, as well as the LED panels installed throughout the space to express Yohji Yamamoto's world view as an artistic expression. Display as wallpaper. As the first step, at the time of opening, we will release a monochrome work that cuts out Yohji Yamamoto and Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME 2023-24 A/W collection by Mr. TAKAY, a photographer who has been capturing the world of Yohji Yamamoto in recent years.

In addition, at the new store, we have installed a beacon and implemented omni-channel functions in cooperation with the online boutique THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO.
