The first collaboration item between WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO and <COTODAMA> will be released on August 9th (Wednesday) at WILDSIDE online platform, WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO OSAKA, and Hankyu Men's Tokyo pop-up store.

<COTODAMA>
COTODAMA was established in Tokyo in 2016 as a creative company that creates new bonds between music and listeners. His creativity has been highly acclaimed around the world, such as being the first Asian award winner at the innovation festival SXSW Accelerator and being selected for Europe's premier music technology incubation program, Abbey Road Red. A brand that develops lyric culture through its own business and creates a more diverse and rich music experience.

In this collaboration, we produced a Lyric Speaker WILDSIDE model by COTODAMA. Yohji Yamamoto's iconic motif of peony flowers is boldly printed on the main body and outer box, and as a limited edition of this model, the peony flowers are projected on the standby screen. In addition, a 2-way bass reflex speaker capable of reproducing sound over a wide range was designed, and an acrylic panel with little excess distortion and vibration was used for the cabinet, realizing a speaker with beautiful sound.

The concept of WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO and the company philosophy of COTODAMA (Kotodama = mysterious power said to dwell in words) resonate and become a fusion item.
