The S'YTE Spring/Summer 2023 collection will go on sale at THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO and WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO OSAKA on Thursday 16 March. ​​

This season's collection is based on themes that have become fundamental to S'YTE, such as military wear and biker culture. The collection has an artisanal feel, utilizing fabrics that have been treated with a little extra care.

A seemingly plain matching set made from a jacquard woven fabric with a paisley pattern is in fact brimming with details. Stitched details also add a nuance, with excess threads left to dangle intentionally. Stitched details also add a nuance, with excess threads left to dangle intentionally.

This collection includes pieces with practical details, such as a parka complete with long cords and multiple pockets reminiscent of European military uniforms.
This season also offers a wide variety of techwear-inspired items, with functional details such as long drawstrings and ample pockets (features normally associated with cargo pants). Variations on biker jackets are a highlight, including a long coat with biker jacket inspired details, and a roomy jacket that matches beautifully with tailored pieces.

Look out for S'YTE 's modern take on patterns and fabrics with a traditional feel, including matching sets that combine slubbed and striped fabrics with a vintage nuance. A series of pieces made from overdyed Madras check fabric will also make an appearance, in addition to a set of items printed with silver/ gray foil. gray foil.

This collection also features a sukajan (satin bomber jacket) embroidered on the back with a colorful parrot motif and the Chinese words "归还 (translation: parroting back). The design is an antithesis to modern society, which has all but forgotten the rebellious spirit of the past. The eye-catching motif is a unique offering from S'YTE.

In addition, rosary beads and necklaces made from silver and crystal, in addition to macramé woven bags will also be added to S'YTE 's "matte black" series. This season, S'YTE will continue to offer pieces at an accessible price point which are imbued with the taste and attention to detail that only Yohji Yamamoto can offer.
