A graceful meeting of corsets and tailoring With the singing voice of Yohji Yamamoto, women with femininity who are destined to walk quietly and powerfully down the runway. “Nanna Isshin” A 45 look that unites the corset, a symbol of women, and the tailored, a symbol of men, to gracefully liberate the female body that has been constrained by society for centuries from the early modern period. Composed spring-summer 2023 collection.
HIGHLIGHTS
Tailored jacket with a bold shape created by folded fabric. "Kana no Shii no Waka no Yukitai no" "Aya no Kotoba", which was compiled for Yohji Yamamoto by Mr. Seigo Matsuoka, intended for "male date" and "female date". Vivid white runs like a flash on black.
A corset that gently envelops and praises a woman's body rather than tightening it. A powerful striped pattern peeking out from the black. A powerful straight line running diagonally on the skin beautifully weaves the tension relationship between black and skin that has been precisely calculated.
The gothic print that shines on the cape that overflows from the hat, tights, and shoes. A corset constructed with fasteners becomes lace before you know it. A corset that connects organic pieces like entwined ivy, a miniskirt constructed with bones and light wrinkled fabric, and transparent tights for bare feet. Classical costumes are lightly destroyed by modernity.
