WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO, an edgy conceptual project by Yohji Yamamoto Inc., will be releasing its first collaboration items with IZUMONSTER, a world-renowned artist who is involved in tattoos, original art, and soft vinyl production.

This lineup features items based on the special effects film "Frankenstein vs. Baragon," released by Toho in 1965.
To commemorate this collaboration, a pop-up store will be set up on the 1st floor of Hankyu Men's Tokyo for seven days from Wednesday, May 29th to Tuesday, June 4th, where a limited number of items will be released in advance.

＜IZUMONSTER＞Tattoo artist/Soft vinyl artist
Based on Japanese culture such as monster movies, superhero special effects, tattoos, and ukiyo-e, we pursue the expression of an original worldview through soft vinyl figures, which have limitations in terms of their shapes.

<Frankenstein vs.the Subterranean Monster (Baragon)>
"Frankenstein vs. Baragon" is a Toho special effects film released in 1965. The story is about the heart of Frankenstein, an immortal artificial human created in Germany at the end of World War II, being transported to Japan, where it grows giant and fights the underground monster Baragon. During the first monster boom, when the Godzilla series was shifting to the children's audience, it was produced as a horror film which could be enjoyed by adults as well. The film is one of the cult favorites among the many Toho special effects films.

The items on offer include T-shirts and blousons featuring Frankenstein and Baragon from "Frankenstein vs. the Subterranean Monster (Baragon)" depicted by IZUMONSTER on WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO's original bodies, as well as graphic shirts arranged by the WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO atelier team using images from the film. In addition, as a special limited item for this pop-up store, a limited edition of 50 sets of "Frankenstein vs. the Subterranean Monster (Baragon)" collaboration soft vinyl figures created by IZUMONSTER will be available.

Featuring the concept color of WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO, this is a special limited item mainly dyed in black. In addition, those who purchase the collaboration soft vinyl will receive a complimentary collaboration T-shirt featuring the soft vinyl design transformed into graphics. *The T-shirt is not for sale.
In addition,  original soft vinyl figures created by ＜IZUMONSTER＞ through a WILDSIDE special order will also be available for purchase.
