Measures to secure safety and security

Dear Customers Thank you always for your continued support of Yohji Yamamoto Inc. and our products. We would like to send our sincere condolences to all who have lost loved ones and for those who have been affected by the coronavirus outbreak. Based on the guideline of WHO and Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare , we have installed following measures in order to further strengthen the protection of safety and security of our customers and employees. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but would appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Measures to secure safety and security Request to customers ‒ Please wear a mask and disinfect your hands ‒ Please refrain from visiting our stores if you have symptoms of fever, cough, and tiredness ‒ Please keep the social distance ‒ Please allow our staffs to serve customers over protection sheets to prevent droplet infection and to use coin trays for changes at the counters ‒ Please understand that we may put a restriction on the number of customers allowed inside when crowded depending on the size of the store ‒ Please enter the store with 2 people or less at the time when visiting in a big group ‒ Please shorten your shopping time to 60 minutes or less at the time ‒ Please allow us to use non-contact thermometers and restrict the entrance when the result is 37.5 Celsius degree (99.5 Fahrenheit) or higher Preventive measures taken at stores ‒ Installing hand disinfectant dispensers at store entrances and employee entrances on each floor ‒ Cleaning our facilities and equipment (fitting rooms, service counters and tables etc.) regularly with the recommended disinfectants. Preventive measures taken for employees ‒ Wearing masks and gloves at all time except for lunch and dinner breaks ‒ Measuring body temperature before work ‒ Mandating handwashing, gargling, and disinfecting of hands and fingers ‒ Disallowing to work and mandating to report when having symptoms for fever, cough, or tiredness ‒ Securing an appropriate distance from customers and refraining from making a direct contact (refraining from initiating conversations) ‒ Ensuring to disinfect customers’ and sales staffs’ hands when trying on clothes ‒ Refraining from helping with the fitting before customers’ approval ‒ Wearing a face shield when crowded ‒ Avoiding to stand directly in front of customers and shortening the duration of conversations when serving ‒ Disinfecting the product with a steam iron and sanitizing spray after trying on the product
