Yohji Yamamoto Inc. (headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) announced in February, 2013, the creation of its new line, "Y'sExclusive".

 

The new Y'sExclusive line is a line of suits for career women with their own unique values and sophisticated sensibilities. The position of women in society has undergone a tremendous shift with each generation. With each change, society has approached the timeless spirit and philosophy that Y's has maintained since its inception — a desire to provide women with the clothes that truly allow them to express their inner allure.

 

This is the perfect age for Y'sExclusive to offer new concepts in suits to working women with strong identities.

 

The 2013 spring and summer debut collection contains jackets, pants, and skirts which can be freely combined and coordinated, as well as items such as shirts and shoes. The price range for business suits ranges from 90,000 to 140,000 yen. The line will be available from February 22, 2013, in select Y's stores in department stores such as Isetan Shinjuku, Matsuya Ginza, Seibu Ikebukuro, JR Kyoto Isetan, JR Nagoya Takashimaya, and Iwataya Fukuoka, later expanding to Y's stores around the country.
